Fifty products, one narrow question: what does each published travel-gear claim actually cover? This register separates whole-product statements from component claims, records repair and warranty evidence, and leaves an explicit partial or unclear status when the documents do not answer the question.
Evidence basis: document review only. Canopy Trips did not buy, handle, lab-test, or field-test these products. A documented claim means the cited page supported the recorded wording and scope on the access date. It does not prove comparative durability, environmental performance, safety, or trip fit.

Current coverage
The August 26 snapshot covers portable solar panels, luggage, carry-on backpacks, water bottles and treatment systems, sun care, toiletries, camping equipment, binocular harnesses, luggage trackers, and travel adapters. The 50 products were selected from products already researched for Canopy Trips guides. This is a working evidence register, not a random or comprehensive market sample. Do not use it to estimate how common a claim is across the entire travel-gear market.
Status definitions
- Documented: the cited source answers the recorded scope and the main limitation fields needed for this register.
- Partial: at least one decision-relevant repair, warranty, certification, testing, compatibility, or scope detail remains unresolved.
- Unclear: the available documents do not support a precise claim boundary. No row is currently labeled unclear; the status remains part of the method for future additions.
Source and update rules
- Prefer the current manufacturer, regulator, certification body, or standard owner.
- Record the exact product or model instead of transferring evidence across a product family.
- Keep the limitation beside the claim. A recycled lining is not a recycled suitcase; a warranty is not proof of repairability.
- Recheck a row before using it in a new article or outreach pitch. Product pages and warranty terms can change after the access date.
- Correct the register when a primary source changes or a narrower model boundary becomes available.
