A credible wildlife operator cannot guarantee a wild animal sighting. The booking decision should focus on guide quality, group behavior, habitat access, and the rules used when an animal changes its behavior.
Seven questions before payment
- What guide credential or park authorization applies?
- What is the maximum group size per guide?
- Are animals ever fed, baited, touched, restrained, called, or surrounded?
- What viewing distance and light rules are used?
- What park ticket or reserve fee is included?
- What is the route, duration, accessibility level, and toilet access?
- What happens if weather closes the park or cancels the boat?

Operator claim versus proof
An operator may describe local hiring, conservation donations, or research partnerships. Record the exact claim and look for a named recipient, program, amount, or public report. A conservation word in the company name is not evidence.
Wildlife encounter red flags

- Feeding or baiting used to produce a sighting
- Guaranteed wild-animal encounters
- No group-size limit
- No answer about guide credentials
- Pressure to buy before park entry is explained
- Captive wildlife presented as a rescue without transparent welfare and release information
